Cancellation policy

Fast Delivery is committed to providing reliable service to customers, restaurants, and delivery partners across Qatar. To ensure fairness and efficiency, we’ve outlined our cancellation and refund policy below:

1.  Customer Order Cancellation
•    Customers may cancel an order within 2 minutes of placement with no penalty.
•    After this time, cancellation requests may be denied or cancellation charges may apply, particularly if:
o    The order has already been accepted by the vendor.
o    Preparation or dispatch has started.
•    Prepaid Orders: If cancellation is approved, refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method (card or wallet).
•    Wallet Payments: Refunds to wallet balances are typically completed within 24 hours.

2. Cancellation by Restaurant or Vendor
Vendors may cancel an order due to:
•    Unavailable menu items
•    Technical errors or system failures
•    Delivery address falling outside of their service area
In such cases, the customer will be notified immediately and refunded in full via the original payment method.

3.  Cancellation by Delivery Partner
If the delivery partner is unable to contact or reach the customer after multiple attempts, the order may be canceled.
•    In such cases, no refund will be issued for food items already prepared or dispatched.
•    Customers may be restricted from placing future Cash on Delivery (COD) orders if repeated incidents occur.

4. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be issued if:
•    The order was prepared or dispatched before cancellation.
•    Incorrect delivery information was provided by the customer.
•    The customer was unreachable or failed to receive the order at delivery.
•    An offer, promo code, or discount was used (see section 10).

5. Cancelling Before Vendor Acceptance
If the customer cancels an order before it has been accepted by the restaurant or vendor:
•    No charges will apply.
•    Any payment made will be fully refunded to the original payment method or wallet.

6. Refunds for Wallet/Credit Payments
If an order is canceled and was paid using both card and wallet:
•    The wallet portion will be refunded to the wallet only (not to a card).
•    The card portion will be returned to the original card within the standard processing time.

7.  Authorization Breach & Penalties
Once a delivery partner is assigned and dispatched to the vendor:
•    Any cancellation attempt will be treated as an Authorization Breach.
•    The full value of the order becomes non-refundable, and Fast Delivery reserves the right to recover the amount through:
o    Deducting from future order payments
o    Charging the customer’s registered card
o    Deducting from the wallet balance
By placing an order, the customer grants unconditional and irrevocable authorization to Fast Delivery to process and complete the transaction on their behalf.

8 Promotions, Vouchers & Coupon Redemptions
•    Orders canceled after applying promo codes, vouchers, or discounts will not be eligible for reissuance or cash refunds.
•    These offers are valid for one-time use only and are non-refundable upon cancellation.
